How quickly can I get my web site built?

Once we have all the basic information from you, we can complete your site within 2 to 4 business days.

If you are also requesting the Social Media and SEO Marketing Setup Sevice, then this will add one extra day to this process.

Do I need a Domain Name?

Yes, you require a domain name. You can buy a domain name at www.bluefiredomains.com.

How do I change the Domain Name DNS?

When you purchase a Domain Name you will specify where and how the domain name is to be hosted. You must set the DNS (or Domain Name Servers, or Name Servers) to be our domain name servers. This ensures that when someone types in your domain name, the Internet will direct that request to our servers and your website actually gets shown. The DNS to specify are:

What content and pages are included with the web site?

What information do I need to supply so my site can be built?

Can you build the site with different photos, colors?

When you choose a template you are agreeing to the color scheme and layout of that template

Generic graphics or icons of the design cannot be changed, however the specific images can be changed. For example if the header has an image of a house, then this can only be changed by modifying the WORDPRESS Theme.

For content areas, you can use the WORDPRESS admin system to upload your own images.

Can I have my logo added when the site is built?

There are specific places in each design where we will place your LOGO.

We will use the graphic you supply to us - so please ensure your logo graphic is a good quality image.

What text on which pages can I change when the site is built?

When we create a site, nearly all pages and content can be modified by you using the WORDPRESS admin system.

However, our recommendation is that you should use the BLOG posting system if you want to add more content.

What if I want extra pages?

Not a problem. Each POWERsite, although based on a theme, is a WORDPRESS BLOG site, therefore anything is possible - and can be easily performed by you!

If you need our assistance for substantial changes, we would charge you a fee to do this, but this is on a time and materials basis so typically is very cost effective for our clients. We would ask you to specify the details for the extra pages so we can set these up for you.

What if I want to change the Menu

The WORDPRESS sites we create use a common menu structure. If you need an alternative then we can help you with this.

Do I need to get any contracts signed with my MLS for IDX data?

Each MLS has different rules for accessing IDX data. Please check with your MLS to see if they require some form of agreement or additional payments from you.

Can I have a POP email account?

Each POWER site offers up to 5 Forwarding email addresses. If you want POP accounts then these can be created at a charge of $5 per POP address per month. A POP account allows for WEBMAIL and POP access. 10MB is allocated to each account.

You are required to use your own SMTP server for outgoing mail.

How much do you charge for extra work?

For additional customization work, we charge $65 per hour. We will provide a quote to you before we start any extra work. However, each site is based on WORDPRESS and therefore already has a substantial content management system built in for you.

Can I make changes to the site once it is built?

Yes. The WORDPRESS systems has a full admin area for your site where you can access the changeable pages and edit the blocks of text or even change images.

When can I start to use My Buying Buddy and the LeadsAndContacts system?

As soon as you receive your login and access information for My Buying Buddy®, you will be able to login to the Lead Control Center. This will immediately allow you to:

How do I enter my own Listings in the web site?

To add listings, you will need to either have an Integrated IDX service added to your site, or add widget codes from other services such as SIngle Property Websites.

If you have the My Buying Buddy® service, then listings will be imported and setup automatically.

How do I ensure my web site is found by the Search Engines?

The secret to good search engine performance is having a site with a focus on a specific niche. Your site can be set up with all the right tags and content to help you achieve this. Remember too that your site is a great tool to convert a measurable percentage of visitors into leads - therefore using PAY PER CLICK strategies can prove very effective.
