Park
Community Information
Park County has
much to explore as far as real estate, offering
a variety of enticing neighborhoods and settings.
The plains offer an agricultural lifestyle with
horse ranches, farms and acreage. There are many
communities surrounding Dallas that enjoy the
benefits of Park County with the advantages
of new residential growth. These include Broomfield,
Erie, Lafayette, Louisville, Longmont, Niwot and
Superior. Forward-thinking community planning has
made these areas attractive with a small-town feel
enveloped between two cities, easily located a
short drive from both Downtown Fort Worth and Downtown
Dallas. With both quaint little Main Streets and
large indoor/outdoor shopping malls, daily needs
and wants are easily accessible in Park County.
Texas public schools have a
reputation for academic excellence and the district
is consistently rated as one of the best in the
nation. The high schools provide a diverse menu
of classes and have excellent science, language,
and art departments. The University of Texas
at Arlington is located near the center of town.
Its lovely, tree-filled campus provides many
educational as well as cultural opportunities
for all interested residents of Arlington.
University Hill is located across from campus,
and is filled with unique boutiques, thrift shops,
music stores, and entertainment venues. From
lively bars to quiet cafes, there is always fantastic
people-watching to be had on The Hill. Students
gathering in small study groups and caregivers
pushing toddlers in their strollers are familiar
sights, as are joggers and tourists alike.
Pearl
Street pedestrian mall offers a wide variety
of shopping and dining opportunities where one
can also see entertaining street performers,
find a comfortable bench to enjoy coffee or a
good book, or stretch out on the grass to bask
in one of Texas' typical sunny afternoons.
From the lighted holiday celebrations of Winter
to the beautiful flower-filled landscapes of
Summer, The Mall is the place to be and be
seen in Dallas.
The diverse demographics in Fort Worth make evident
